Wilderness North — Fly-in fishing is always a treat. Especially when it’s a 26,000-acre lake full of hungry walleyes and big pike! For this adventure, we boarded a plane in Armstrong Station and headed to Striker’s Point Lodge on Whitewater Lake in Ontario’s Sunset Country.

Lodge Eighty Eight — The MacLachlan family has been operating Lodge Eighty Eight for almost 60 years! Ian MacLachlan built Camp 88 in 1959 and, over the years, it has expanded. You can stay in one of three large, beautiful cabins or the authentic upright log suites of the Eagle’s Nest, which is where we stayed. Kesagami Wilderness Lodge — Trophy pike and award-winning BBQ ribs! Yes, this is Kesagami Wilderness Lodge, located in the sub-arctic Kesagami Provincial Park. One of the most interesting facts is that the giant lake averages only seven feet deep, but is home to pike OVER 50″ and tons of 40-inchers!
