Arc Lake Outpost in Sunset Country

Slate Falls Outposts have several locations for the outdoorsmen looking for a remote fly-in adventure into Ontario’s Sunset Country.

The airbase in Sioux Lookout is just a three and a half hour drive north of the border from International Falls, Minnesota. After a short plane ride you’ll arrive on the pristine waters of Arc Lake.

Arc Lake is part of the Miniss River system and is the first lake south and upstream of Miniss Lake. The system is loaded with tons of hungry walleyes, big northern pike, and lake trout. One-hundred fish days are common and the walleyes in this system are very aggressive and willing biters.

Arc Lake Outpost can sleep up to eight anglers in the main cabin, plus three more in the bunk house. It also comes equipped with a full kitchen and all the utensils and cookware you’ll need. The Outpost also has an option for Starlink internet.
