Esnagami Lake is located just north of Nakina, Ontario, Canada. Nestled in the heart of the Ontario wilderness, the lake has 120 miles of shoreline, over 200 islands and 18,000 acres of clear, cool water. Esnagami Lodge is the only lodge on the entire lake giving guest access to endless fishing opportunities. This fly-In lodge provides guest with a true taste of Ontario’s beauty and pristine wilderness.
The lodge has beautiful log cabins, with all the modern amenities, keep you cosy and comfortable after a day of fishing. The largest cabins can accommodate up to eight people, and the smaller cabins comfortably house two guests. All cabins offer a beautiful view of the lake from their decks.
The main lodge offers satellite TV, Wi-Fi, comfortable couches and a camp store for your convenience. Fishing tackle, beverages, snacks and lodge sportswear are all available for purchase. American and housekeeping plans are available for guests.
Fishing On Esnagami Lake
Guest can experience incredible northern pike, walleye, and brook trout fishing during their stay. All three species have the potential to reach trophy sizes. Each season guest catch northern pike exceeding forty inches, and walleyes exceeding thirty inches long. Guest targeting brook trout can except to catch fish between seventeen and twenty-three inches long.
At Esnagami Lodge guest can enjoy casting from one of our handcrafted 18-foot cedar strip boats, each powered by a dependable 9.9 HP outboard motor. The lake features countless bays, weed beds, sunken islands, sandbars and drop-offs. There are endless amounts of spots and structure to fish.
The lodge also caters to fly fisherman and offers a fly-fishing experience specifically designed to suit your preferences and skill level. Fly anglers can chase trophy brook trout with dry flies. Northern pike and walleye can also be caught on lager streamers. No matter how’d you like to fish, Esnagami Lodge can accommodate it all.
